Imagine office complex with a fitness club!

Calypso Fitness is entering Łódź! The leader of the fitness market in Poland has become another tenant of Imagine, the office complex developed by Avestus Real Estate at the intersection of al. Piłsudskiego and Śmigłego-Rydza in Łódź. A modern training club will develop almost 1,500 sqm. of space, located on the first floor of Building B. The opening of Calypso Fitness in the Imagine office complex is scheduled for May 2020.

Calypso Fitness is a leading brand on the Polish fitness market. Its network consists of several dozen of clubs located in 26 cities throughout Poland. The Imagine office building will be the company’s first location in Łódź. The club will feature modern arrangement including professionally equipped training rooms and rest zones with a sauna among others. Additionally, in specially prepared “Kids Play” zones, free care will be provided for children whose parents are at the training. The club will also feature functional training zones GIPARA ZONE, rooms for fitness classes for groups, a modern line of strength and cardio equipment and a free weight zone. Calypso Fitness Club in the Imagine complex will be open to the public – its offer will be available to the employees of both office buildings as well as all persons interested in a sports training. In addition, Calypso customers will be able to use the car park located in the above-ground garage of the complex on preferential terms.

Marta Wybrańska, Leasing Director at Avestus Real Estate, said: “From the very beginning, a fitness centre has been one of the essential elements of the retail and service space arrangement concept at Imagine. While preparing and implementing the investment, we wanted to create not only a modern office complex, but also a place where it will be possible to use various types of services. The experience gained in other regional markets and discussions with the current and potential tenants of Imagine allowed us to identify the most important needs of our partners, amongst which the availability of a fitness centre in a modern workplace is at the forefront.”

Calypso Fitness Club at Imagine will be arranged on about 1,500 sqm. of modern space, located on the first floor of Building B. A comfortable and direct access to the training centre leading through the lobby of the building will be prepared for the clients.

Mikołaj Nawacki, CEO and Founder of Calypso Fitness, said: “We are extremely proud of this project. The Calypso IMAGINE club in Łódź will be a special place, which as one of the first in Europe will be comprehensively equipped with GreenSystem devices by SportsArt. Apart from the unique design and perfect biomechanics of this line of devices, their unquestionable advantage is the capacity to recover energy generated during the training. Staying one step ahead of the future, I can tell that a significant part of the club will be powered by electricity obtained in this way. It’s a win-win situation, where by regular training we do something important for ourselves, by saving energy we do something important for the environment, and additionally, thanks to the WATA application, each client of the Calypso Fitness club collects points which can be exchanged for attractive prizes. Although the club will be opened in a few months’ time, we can already observe a huge interest in this place from Łódź residents. To ensure the highest comfort of the users, we have already concluded agreements with OK SYSTEM Polska and the BeActive cards operator. This means that those users who have these Partners’ packages or cards will soon be able to take full advantage of all the facilities of the club, without any limits or restrictions.”

The Imagine project is a state-of-the-art Class A office complex consisting of three buildings. The two six-storey facilities offer a total of 17,200 sqm. of commercial space: 14,800 sqm. of office space and 2,400 sqm. of retail and service space. The third building houses an above ground garage offering 356 parking spaces and 49 double bicycle racks.

The tenants of the Imagine office complex include, among others, EY, a global leader in audit services, and Asseco Poland, the largest provider of modern IT solutions in Central and Eastern Europe. Among Imagine’s tenants are also New Work Offices, a company which has arranged office space for corporate clients in both buildings of the complex, as well as serviced offices for smaller companies. Bluerank, a dynamically developing Łódź-based technology company, has also decided to lease space at Imagine. The bilingual Kids&Co. kindergarten and nursery, as well as Olimp restaurant are Imagine tenants too. Both companies use the retail and service area of Imagine, located on the ground floor of Building B. The complex also house a Żabka shop and the Z Pieca Rodem premises, where you will be able to buy bread baked on the spot and have a cup of coffee.

The construction works of the Imagine project started in March 2018. The first tenants moved into the complex already at the beginning of September 2019. In October 2019, the official opening of Imagine took place, combined with the unveiling of a sculpture by Mikołaj Apelt-Ciupiński (a student of the Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź). The sculpture is located in the city passage between the two office buildings of the complex.
