Leadership team

With over 30 years’ experience in international real estate, Roger oversees the continued development of Avestus Real Estate’s portfolio of residential, office and retail properties, a number of large mixed-use developments, and represents the company’s and investor interests in the joint venture activities in the CEE region. Working closely with the Principals of Avestus Capital Partners, Roger manages the expansion of the business into new ventures and use classes.

Prior to his current position with ARE, Roger held Managing Director and CEO positions at leading real estate entities in the UK, including: 2002 – 2006, Divisional Managing Director of Gleeson Homes, a wholly owned subsidiary of MJ Gleeson Group; 1999 – 2001, residential Managing Director at Chelverton International; 1996 – 1999, Managing Director, South Thames division of Countryside Properties.

Roger is a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Gabor joined ARE in 2008, though was previously involved in a hotel project with Quinlan Private Golub, the predecessor of Avestus. Gabor’s responsibilities started with comprehensive development-project coordination and management, later taking on project management responsibilities with various tasks associated of property management. Gabor also supervises ARE’s operating activities in Hungary.          

Before joining Avestus, Gabor established a special, non-destructive building (structural) diagnostic method using fiberglass optic and inductive metal detector devices.

Gabor graduated from Budapest Technical University as civil engineer and later gained a university degree in law.

Gabor is a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Mariusz joined Avestus Real Estate in 2006. Initially responsible for coordinating the financing of development projects, Mariusz was appointed Country Manager in 2011. He oversees all ARE’s operating activities in Poland. His responsibilities include new commercial development business as well as the daily management  of real estate projects and coordinating the activities of property management implemented on behalf of external property owners.

Previously, Mariusz worked for ING Group, where he was responsible for corporate banking at ING Bank N.V. He subsequently moved to ING Lease Poland, where he worked as Deputy Director Structured Leasing Services, CEE.

Mariusz Frąckiewicz has a degree in Finance & Banking from the University of Łódź.
